In addition to a financial award, the Incubator Center at Kentucky Highlands is awarding office space and amenities to the winners of the contest. B2 Solutions Development, LLC a Kentucky company will operate in 2011 from the Incubator Center.

A new “Early Adopter” program has been announced for B2 Solutions Development, LLC’s new software product, eGxPro. The program would allow companies to negotiate specific incentives to utilize the software, in exchange for providing important feedback to B2 Solutions.

“Over the past 6 weeks, the completion of the final phase of eGxPro has taken place. Our goal was to complete as much as a 90% ‘out of the box’ solution for companies using eGxPro. We are ready for a ‘champion’ to implement the software into a project to calculate its performance. In exchange, B2 solutions will provide incentives that will not be available to the open market,” stated Harold Megargel, Vice President of Business Development for B2 Solutions.

The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development announced participants in its Kentucky Export Initiative promoted by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and spearheaded by former Governor Martha Layne Collins. The program is designed to coordinate federal, regional and state resources to assist companies in exporting their goods and services to a global market.

Local company B2 Solutions Development, LLC, a life science software company, participated in the two day event and is part of the overall program. Companies that are selected to the program receive Blue Key and Gold Key services to foreign entities including companies in China, Mexico, Canada, and other markets from the Far East, Europe, and Central and South America. In addition, participating companies can receive financial, marketing, and technical assistance.

The Appalachian Regional Commission, a major sponsor, along with the Kentucky World Trade Center, the U. S. Commerce Department, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and the Export-Import Bank of the United States provided the expertise and coordination of the initiative.
